Breanna Norton is a passionate and encouraging music educator currently pursuing her degree in Music Education at the University of North Texas. She is a registered Suzuki Book 1 teacher and is on track to complete her Suzuki Book 2 registration by the end of Summer 2026, bringing a strong foundation in student-centered string instruction to her work with young musicians.
Breanna has taught one-on-one violin and viola lessons virtually through UNT for the past two years, working with students to build strong technique, confidence, and musical understanding. Her teaching style focuses on relationship building, thoughtful student assessment, engaging lesson planning, and adapting instruction to meet each student’s unique learning style.
In addition to her private lesson experience, Breanna has worked with groups of children in both musical and non-musical settings.
Her experience includes leading sectionals for ASTA in preparation for All-Region, working with students at ISMI summer camp, and supporting children through Right at School after-school care and summer camp programs. These experiences have helped her develop strong skills in classroom management, student engagement, motivation, and creating positive learning environments.
At Texas Amps & Axes, Breanna teaches violin and viola and is excited to help students build strong musical foundations while discovering the joy of playing their instrument.
