An Ohio native, Brenda studied vocal performance at The Ohio State University and Kent State University. She has enjoyed performing in theatre, opera, and musical theatre, as well as solo engagements.

Also a cellist, Brenda enjoyed playing for many years in several orchestras in both Ohio and Texas.  She has served as music director for “The Hunchback of Notre Dame,” “Newsies,” “Annie,” “The Secret Garden,” “Guys and Dolls, Jr.,” “The Little Mermaid, Jr.,”  “Moana, Jr., and “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown.”  Brenda home-educated her five children for 23 years. She has taught private vocal lessons since 1996.
