With over 40 years of percussion mastery, Mr. Jeff has turned rhythm into an art form that transcends borders (literally—he’s performed in over 20 countries!). From the thunder of timpani to the shimmer of Latin percussion, his playing and teaching style are equal parts precision, passion, and groove.
A graduate of California Lutheran College with a degree in Music, Jeff studied under some of percussion’s biggest legends—including Vera McNary Daehlin, a direct student of Clair Omar Musser, and Keith Purdue, whose mentors include Vic Firth and Saul Goodman. It’s safe to say rhythm runs deep in his veins.
When he’s not teaching students how to make the drums sing (and not just make noise), you’ll find him performing across DFW with church worship teams, as the timpanist for Heather Sorenson’s Grace Center Concerts, or touring with internationally acclaimed groups like Los Vecinos, Blue Door Band, and Fletch Wiley Band.
He’s also an experienced composer, songwriter, and clinician, with a teaching resume that spans Guitar Center, Canyon Creek Christian Academy, and even guest work at Asia Biblical Seminary in South India.
Whether it’s jazz, funk, rock, or classical, Mr. [Name] brings a wealth of knowledge—and just the right amount of dad-humor—to every lesson. His mission? To help every student discover that rhythm isn’t just something you play—it’s something you feel.
