Nathan Grissett brings the perfect mix of professional training, real-world performance experience, and approachable, student-centered teaching to TA&A. Specializing in drum set, guitar, piano, and ukulele, Nathan holds both a Bachelor’s in Music Education and a Master’s in Percussion Performance, giving him a strong foundation in both the art and craft of music-making.

With years of teaching and gigging experience, Nathan knows how to meet students right where they are — whether they’re picking up an instrument for the very first time or ready to push their skills to the next level. His lessons are encouraging, engaging, and built around one core belief: music should be fun first. Nathan creates a welcoming space where students feel confident exploring, making mistakes, asking questions, and growing into the kind of musicians they’re excited to become.
