Fall Practice Challenge - Amp Up your practice

We’re well into our Fall Practice Challenge, running from September 3rd through November 23rd, and we couldn’t be more excited to see your progress! This is your chance to take your practice to the next level, have some fun, and maybe even win some awesome prizes!

Bingo! Remember, the more bingo rows you complete, the more chances you have to win. For all the details, a copy of the bingo card, and prize info, be sure to visit the Fall Practice Challenge Page.

To help you make the most of your at-home practice, here are 3 tips to boost your progress:

  1. Set a specific goal for each session – Focus on one or two things you want to improve during practice, whether it’s perfecting a tricky section or mastering a new skill.
  2. Break it down – Don’t try to tackle everything at once! Break your music into smaller chunks and practice those repeatedly until they feel natural.
  3. Use a timer – Keep yourself on track by setting short, focused practice intervals (try 15-20 minutes) with breaks in between to keep your mind fresh.

And don’t forget to follow our TA&A School of Music Facebook Page for Tip Tuesdays throughout the challenge for even more practice hacks!

Keep up the great work, and we can’t wait to see how much you grow through this Fall Practice Challenge! Keep practicing and aim for bingo! 🎤🎸🎹

⚠️🚨Reminder: TA&A Health & Illness Policy in Full Effect

As we approach cold and flu season, we want to remind everyone that our Health & Illness Policy is in full effect and will be upheld without exception.

We understand that kids get sick, and it’s not always predictable, but out of respect for our teachers, their time, and their livelihood, we must charge for any cancellations made with same-day notice. We truly appreciate your understanding.

If your student is showing symptoms such as fever, runny nose, or coughing, please refrain from bringing them to their lesson. We are always happy to pivot to an online lesson via Facetime or Zoom for students who are not well enough to attend in person. In turn, any teacher cancellations made for the same reason are an instant Account Credit to you.

Thank you for helping us keep our studio and team healthy! 🎤🎸🎹
