Get ready to rock out at Rockstar Bootcamp! This high-energy guitar camp is designed for kids ages 8-11 who want to dive into the world of guitar, learn epic riffs, and jam with friends. Whether they’re brand new to the instrument or have a little experience, campers will build confidence and skills while having a blast.
Throughout the week, campers will learn essential guitar techniques, including power chords, strumming patterns, and famous song riffs. They’ll also "form a band" with fellow campers, creating their own stage names and rocking out together. Calling all aspiring young songwriters! The Song Lab is a fun and creative songwriting camp designed for ages 10-14, where campers will learn how to turn their thoughts, feelings, and ideas into music. Whether they love to sing, play an instrument, or just enjoy making up lyrics, this camp will guide them step by step through the songwriting process—from brainstorming lyrics to composing melodies and performing original songs.
Each day focuses on a key part of songwriting, with hands-on activities, group collaboration, and plenty of creative fun. By the end of the week, campers will write and perform their own song at the Songwriter Showcase and take home a Songwriting Journal to keep their musical journey going!

Over four days, campers will explore the basics of rhythm, build their own beats, and even experiment with creating original music using digital tools. The camp is perfect for budding music creators who want to dive into the world of beats, sound manipulation, and creativity.

Join our engaging, hands-on group strings classes this summer! In both our beginner and advanced classes, each student will learn HOW to play either the Tune, Harmony Part, or Back Up part to contribute to the group as a whole (all students will get the opportunity to be featured). Each week, students will learn a new technique used a LOT in fiddle music, and incorporate this technique into a new tune, as well as HOW to improvise and create over the back up part as a soloist! By the end of the summer, students will have a total of five tunes ready for “group” performance, and many more to practice outside of class!

Research has shown that we are all born with an aptitude for music, but that aptitude diminishes if it is not actively nurtured between the ages of birth and nine.
As you familiarize yourself with our class offerings and learn more about Musikgarten, we look forward to answering your questions and welcoming your family into our music studio. We are offering a mix of classes, camps and lessons to fit your family’s preference.
