This Studio is great! So inviting! It was nice to be able to trial first and they made scheduling flexible. We are a large family and they were able to accommodate and keep our children in back to back classes. Thank you!

This is our first year with Amps and Axes. So far, we have enjoyed the experience. Their system to sign up was very easy to follow. We get helpful reminders for lessons weekly and invoice payments monthly. And the location is very convenient for us and the staff is friendly. We look forward to a continued educational relationship with their organization.

We have been coming to Texas Amps and Axes for a few years and watching the growth in our children has been amazing. My kids actually enjoy coming to lessons now! The staff is amazing and every teacher we have had has been great. The way they can adapt to each students skill level is impressive.
We are very thankful!

We joined TA&A when they first opened and have been coming back ever since. I recommend them to anyone looking for lessons. I appreciate that we feel like family there and you get the highest quality teachers and staff!

We have been at Texas Amps and Axes for 5 years now and it has been the best studio for my daughter's love of learning the piano. A convenient location and a friendly staff with the best teachers keeps us coming back.

We love TA&A! In our 2 years of lessons they have really been awesome. Super flexible and great communicators. Staff always makes us feel welcome and you can tell they really enjoy having the students around.

From the moment I walked in to Texas Amps and Axes over a year ago to pick up a capo for my oldest son, I felt like I was walking in to an old friends house. I was promptly greeted by Carlos and he immediately got me what I needed. Carlos was a huge help because I had absolutely no idea what a capo was 🙂 When my youngest son mentioned an interest in learning to play the drums, I had no doubt where I could find the perfect teacher. Iris set my son up for a trial lesson with JT and he was hooked. JT has not only taught my son the basics of drumming, but he has kept him fully engaged by teaching him music he is interested in and early on he figured out how to motivate my son. Every week when I walk in to the studio, we are greeted with a cheerful "Hello!" I truly enjoy the music my son is learning and also the environment he is learning in. Thank you for all that you do!

Our experience at Texas Amps and Axes has been wonderful! We love Iris and the others we have met there and are especially grateful to our friend and teacher, Shelley Baird, for the many hours she has poured into Noah and Sydney this past year teaching them music. We will return in the Fall as we can't imagine a better experience anywhere else. We are truly grateful.

I enrolled my daughter at Texas Amps & Axes about 18 months ago and every time we are there I feel so blessed to have found this amazing place! From her first lesson with Ms. Beth she was hooked! We both connected immediately not only with Ms.Beth but with Iris and Jon. Their students and families truely come first. They are there to teach music but also to connect personally with the students and families. They really care about everyone at their studio! The entire staff is AMAZING! I wouldn't want my daughter anywhere else!

We have had a tremendous experience at Texas Amps & Axes! Iris and Jon are down to earth and wonderful communicators who will go out of their way to understand each family’s needs. Our kids have had the chance to get to know and be guided by Jana and Richard Kmodras (in violin and piano, respectively), who are also exceptionally professional, warm, and well-rounded people. If our family ever had to move away from Prosper, I think leaving Amps & Axes would probably be one of the hardest parts. The music school is a gem, and it keeps evolving and improving because of all of Iris and Jon’s great work. Bravo, guys!

Beginning a musical education can be both daunting and expensive. Often, only children of the wealthy can afford a musical education, which can make for a homogeneous population of demanding parents and children alike. Education environments such as these can be intimidating and unwelcoming reception for new parents and students, especially those coming from diverse backgrounds. But Texas Amps & Axes: School of Music is an extremely special place. They support excellence in teaching, foster a love of learning, and they welcome you with open arms.
When I was shopping for a place to begin music lessons for my daughter, other local community school felt icy in comparison to this school...

...The administration is simply magnificent; they streamline difficult logistical processes, set up payment plans, and make scheduling and rescheduling lessons easy. Communication with staff, especially with Mrs. Iris Meneley, is always pleasant to talk to in person and, and they always remember your family and your name.
We’ve enjoyed nearly a year and a half of classes with TA&A and appreciate their efforts to make it a fun and supportive experience. As a parent, it’s been exciting to see my daughter go through the learning process…not always fun, but fascinating to see her learning that you have to stick with it…once she “gets it,” she loves the sense of accomplishment.

...Hearing her say “I get it, Mom!” and “I can do it, Mom!” with a big grin and watching her go into the living room to play the Guitar and Singing without prompting, has been priceless!
I can not say enough about what a great teacher Ms. Beth has been. She puts so much effort into making the class fun, but also very informative…My daughter has love it.
I see a lot of growth in music understanding - rhythm and tonal response. She chooses much more complex music to listen to and I can tell she understands and enjoys the patterns. Ms. Beth is amazing with children and guiding the parents as well.
We feel TA&A is playing an important role in our child’s growing years. She learns not just about music but about creativity and imagination. The teachers at TA&A are very kind and passionate about teaching music and we are very happy to see our child learning.
Quite simply, the TA&A School of Music services our community providing an educational environment that makes both students and parents feel comfortable and valued. It is a beautiful melodic journey and we are blessed to be a part of the TA&A Family.

Texas Amps & Axes is a local treasure and such an asset to our community. It is one of those rare places that comes along and sets the standard. Music truly unifies people and this is the place to watch that magic happen. Everyone provides a warm and welcoming environment for students and their families. The school has a variety of teachers and music lessons available to fit any personality. My entire family loves this place. My kids know that they are loved, safe, and free to explore their musical interests to their heart's content.
